Uncertainty

The dilemma, Lost. If I am lost does that mean that I couldn't possibly be in a dilemma? Is it better to be in a dilemma than being lost? At least in a dilemma, there are known choices to choose between.

I am a soon to be fresh-graduate and it is scary. I have no idea what is installed for me in the next 3 months?! This uncertainty is killing me. Before going for a job interview I will read up about the job position, the company and most important, psych myself. Affirming my skills and bring positivity to my mind. But all these do not seem to be working. Being able to convince me the reason why I applied for that specific role got me thinking... "Is it something I really want to do? or is it just so that I can get a job first?" It makes me doubt if I am really interested.

With the CoVid-19 virus, the economy and job market are not well. The government has implemented to help organizations cope with the bad economy. There are so many uncertainties during this period. Within these 2 weeks, I have already changed my schedule at least 3 times. No complaints - to be honest, I think the school has been really accomodating and they listened to students' concerns. As well as, head students' suggestions to tackle the sudden changes. They helped to reduce the workload and push important deadlines back. Thank you to our professors and school staff for responding so fast in spite of the chaos.

During this period of illness got me thinking about the things we have to be appreciative towards. Recently, a friend of mine sent me some notes of appreciation from time to time through Telegram. It made me realize the positivity that note of appreciation brought me. Hence, I decided to spread that positivity to my other friend. It is the little things like just a simple genuine "Thank you!" that matters.

The group that is sacrificing and working really hard for the general population - the frontline workers! The doctors, nurses as well as, public service staff who assist in the contact tracing of new cases. Without their grueling hours of work, the spread of the virus will not be inhibited. Thank you to all of you! As well as, those who came back home from overseas and are serving their stay home notices. This is not only a national effort but an international one. We shall get through this together. Hang in there! Stay strong and healthy everyone!
