My Long Holiday
My Long Holiday that lasted for almost 7-8 months is coming to an end. University is officially starting on the 8th of August! Part of me is looking forward to new school however, another part dreads it- as usual. Orientation camps and making friends! Aren't exactly my favourite things. I really do hope that I get to meet nice and great new friends in uni :) I have 2 upcoming camps- hall and school camp. I have been travelling to school these few days to attend Physics and Maths refresher course. Physics one is quite interesting because I am learning new content but Maths is quite boring...

And so I'm bored most of the time and decided to test my Photoshop skills hahahhaha The above picture was inspired by my trip to Northern Territory, Australia. I was at Nitmulik National Park where I spotted many fruit bats! It was interesting to see the bats out in the open during broad daylight. I reckon that it is not bad! I haven't use Photoshop in such a long time!
It has been a week since I came back from Australia but I am still spellbound by THE AYERS ROCK! It has been my parents' dream to visit the Ayers Rock even before they had my siblings and I. They managed to fulfill this dream of theirs with us :) It was so enchanting to see my parents sooo happy when we got down from the car to view the magnificent rock in front of us! I never expected it to be as huge as it is. They were so many other highlights during my trip there! Although it was a really long drive from Darwin all the way down to Uluru, it was definitely worthwhile. I really hope to be able to go back to further explore Uluru as while as Kata Tjuta, which awestruck me as well!!
Without hesitating, I would day that sunset at Ayers Rock was my best sunset ever! The picture would just prove it all (sadly it is quite blur). Viewing the whole process with my own eyes was unbelievable. How the shadow slowly creeps onto the rock, slowly eating up the glow. You couldn't leave it out of sight, if not the next moment the glowing rock would slowly fade away. Before sunset, we could see the colour of the rock changing till it glowed so bright red!
Besides my trip to Australia in June, watching the musical Les Miserables was another highlight of my long holiday. It is amazing to be able to hear live vocals. The cast's voices were so clear and filled with emotions. Paying for musicals is definitely worth it. It amazes me how songs can convey emotions and tell a story! I really hope that I will have more opportunities to watch musicals. My first musical was Sound of Music. Wicked seems nice and they are coming to Singapore again! Maybe I should go for it! These few days, I have been going to school for refresher course. Trying to get use to lectures again! Feels weird to be back at school again but it is also weird to not be back at school for so long hahahaha
Looking forward to more adventures ahead!
